Rob and the team at Active Quote came to Insight with an exciting brief and a tight deadline! They wanted a video that introduced the business’ culture, values & employees, as well as outlining the benefits of becoming a partner of theirs.

The Project

The main purpose of the video was to form part of a pitch to bring on a new client. They wanted to stand out as a little bit different from other company’s pitching for the same partnership and we agreed that video would be a great way to do this.

We worked together to develop a series of questions to use during an interview session with employees that touched upon the key values and ethos of the business. We also identified other areas of the business that could benefit from video marketing content and as such were able to acquire three videos worth of content in one day of filming.

The outcome

As a result of the video content Insight created, the client stood out from the crowd during the pitch process and won a new contract worth over £1 million.

The recruitment video that was created alongside the main video has had great success, attracting a higher caliber of candidate during recruitment campaigns.

approached by Jess & Gemma, who look after the company’s marketing, to create a promotional film to go alongside the company’s rebrand. We set about discussing what needed to be put across to their audience and what the key messages were.

The Project

We agreed that we should introduce Kontroltek’s employees in the video as they are the experts behind the scenes, the ones who have contributed to the company’s continued success and growth. Another important thing to get across was their various offerings and USPs.

We decided a mixture of interview content and motion graphics would be best for this – creating an engaging and multi functional viewing experience. After shooting we created two versions – a longer video specifically for use on their website and another, shorter version, for use on the company’s social media channels.

This level of collaboration between video production team and the client is what really produces great results. We take great pride in the fact we make a point of getting to know the business, it’s employees, the industry the business is in as well as the goals and future aspirations of the business.

COINS User Conference & Grand Challenge 2018

Construction industry software specialists COINS have a yearly user conference, which in 2018 was hosted in San Antonio, Texas. The Insight team were flown out to cover the event and produce a huge variety of video marketing content for the company.

The Project

COINS are big believers in the power of video content and we work closely with them on a regular basis. This event is spread over two days and involves a conference, breakout sessions, trade stands and an awards ceremony for emerging talent on the first evening.

We turn around a large amount of footage during the event so that the buzz of the event can be leveraged as the video content  is released.

The team films and edits throughout the day, as well as live streaming the key note speakers to those who couldn’t attend.

The outputs

A news report of the whole event – 24 hours after the event finished

Highlights of user conference day 1 – delivered and shown the following morning

A highlights of competition winners – 12 hours after the awards ceremony

Interviews with all finalists – filmed and edited on day 1 to be shown that evening at the awards ceremony

Lexus Car Launch event

Dominic from Lexus Cardiff approached me when they were planning this VIP launch event and we set about discussing how best to capture the event. We knew the car would be the star of the show, however they wanted something a little more. The centre prides itself on their highly experience led values – it’s not just the car, but the experience the customer receives from Lexus. We decided to use this event and beautiful car as a backdrop to promote this idea.

Gemma Angharad - SME Performance specialist

Gemma needed a short explainer animation to bring to life her offering and detail her USPs. We worked together to define the necessary content and then the team at Insight went away to develop a voiceover script, animation concepts. We worked closely with Gemma's graphic designer to create the required graphical assets, professionally recorded the voiceover and put it all together into the final animation.

Active Quote

The marketing team at ACT wanted some new videos to go with the company’s rebrand. They were looking to up the production value on previous videos they had produced as well as talking about specific subjects relating to the company’s history, offering and future plans.

The Project

After an initial discussion we agreed that a conversational approach was best – rather than speaking directly to the audience in a “piece to camera” style video. We wanted the three key people in the business (Weslsh Rugby international’s Andy and Steve Moore, as well as sports psychologist Ben)  to discuss their experiences and passion for the business in a round table type setup.

We hired a studio space and filmed with three cameras and the whole discussion lasted about an hour. The team then went through the footage to find the relevant sections throughout and edited them together into shorter 3 – 5 minute videos, making it seem like one conversation.

We also created a series of shorter “piece to camera” videos that the team could send to both athletes and businesses with key information about the program, which could be sent via email. This helped bring the emails to life, creating a more engaging connection with the recipients.
